As Executive news producer I manage teams to produce a TV newscast, choosing guests and defining story angles. We cover the whole range of international news, from the American elections, the war in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East to political crises in West Africa.
I co-founded Akili Check, the first AI-powered chatbot and application in Francophone West Africa dedicated to fighting misinformation. The project focuses on young people and non-literate communities, with strong accessibility features, including African local languages for users who do not read or speak English or French.
Akili Check operates on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, the main platforms where misinformation circulates most.
In 2025, the project was selected as a laureate of the JournalismAI Innovation Challenge, a programme led by the Polis think tank at the London School of Economics’ Department of Media and Communications, and received support from the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).
I serve as editorial advisor for tamamedia.com. A website that takes an in-depth look at African and world news through long-format reports rarely found elsewhere in French-speaking Africa, exclusive investigations, analyses, major interviews and fact-checking content to combat misinformation in Africa.
For Slate.fr, I've written in-depth articles on a variety of subjects, including the political and security crises in the Sahel and the relations between this region and France and the United States.
Upendo is another media I co-founded, which essentially gives a voice to innovative entrepreneurs, notably from the African diaspora, via video formats that are easy to digest for social networks.
